Support groups

We run a number of support groups to help you connect with others who may have similar experiences and shared understanding.

Our support groups offer you the chance to meet with others and share your experiences in a safe environment.

Bereavement support group

This support group is for anyone who has experienced a bereavement throughout the COVID-19 pandemic and would benefit from discussing and sharing their experiences with others.

Groups will include a maximum of 6 people (not including facilitators) and will run in 7 week blocks.

Each group will be ‘closed’ to new members meaning that new members will not join existing groups midway through, allowing a safe and therapeutic relationship to form within each group.

All sessions run from 4-5pm. The next group dates will be announced shortly.

Register your interest by emailing tewv.hcv-resiliencehub@nhs.net.

Long-COVID support group

This support group is for anyone experiencing symptoms of long-COVID.

Our group is held every Wednesday and offers you the chance to meet with others with similar symptoms and share your experiences in a safe environment.

You will also have the opportunity to seek further support and ask questions to our dedicated professionals.

Long-COVID symptoms can include breathlessness, headaches, persistent cough, fatigue, cognitive impairment “brain fog”, anxiety and depression.

Register your interest by emailing tewv.hcv-resiliencehub@nhs.net.
