Support groups
We run a number of support groups to help you connect with others who may have similar experiences and shared understanding.
Our support groups offer you the chance to meet with others and share your experiences in a safe environment.
Bereavement support group
This support group is for anyone who has experienced a bereavement and would benefit from discussing and sharing their experiences with others.
Groups will include a maximum of 6 people (not including facilitators) and will run in six week blocks.
Each group will be ‘closed’ to new members meaning that new members will not join existing groups midway through, allowing a safe and therapeutic relationship to form within each group.
All sessions run from 3pm – 4.15pm and cover:
Session 1:
16th May 2024
Will start with introductions, hopes and expectations of the group. You will also be given the
opportunity to share your experience with other group members.
Session 2:
30th May 2024
We will introduce some of the bereavement models, including the concept of growing around
grief.
Sessions 3-5:
13th June, 27th June, 11th July 2024
A reflective space will be offered for peer support. The facilitators will continue to share concepts
around grief to support reflection. All group members are encouraged to participate.

25th July 2024

Long-COVID support group
This support group is for anyone experiencing symptoms of long-COVID.
Our group is held every Wednesday and offers you the chance to meet with others with similar symptoms and share your experiences in a safe environment.
You will also have the opportunity to seek further support and ask questions to our dedicated professionals.
Long-COVID symptoms can include breathlessness, headaches, persistent cough, fatigue, cognitive impairment “brain fog”, anxiety and depression.
